SCALES OF LANDSCAPE | FILM SCREENING

In 2015 we came out with the idea of discussion the scales of landscape and how this fact is intrisingly correlated with our daily life. Each week we screened a film about different scales of landscape. Through this informal meeting we hopep to acknowledge that landscape is created and exists on several spacial and temporal scales, affecting human and non-human beings and structures. Either by extending or contracting distances, agregating and overlaping heterogeneous livelihoods, or by profoundly changing nature with far reaching consequences. In all these films, the way Man dwells is shown to transform landscape and in doing so transforms itself.

Our aim was to spark a discussion about a theme that matters so much.
